The reaction from men on social media prompted Brink to respond, saying she has no objection to playing with men during practices, but she was outraged by the reaction to the call for tryouts. “We usually use guys from Southern California who also play on the USC women’s team.” The 23-year-old Brink won the NCAA championship with Stanford and was then selected by the Sparks as the second overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.
