A translator for a programming language – an alternative to Rust has emerged
The gccrs translator is an alternative compiler for Rust. It is currently under development. The project encompassing this new tool has been named GCC. The programming language translator introduced by the GCC project is a collection of compilers for various programming languages, writes https://xrust.ru/. These compilers share a common compilation framework. Many of you have probably heard of gccgo, gfortran, or g++, which are binaries within this project. The goal of gccrs is to add support for the Rust programming language to this collection, aiming to achieve the same behavior as rustc. Compilers are incredibly useful software tools. The project began in 2014—before the release of Rust 1.0. However, it was quickly shelved due to the language’s volatile nature at the time. Around 2019, work on the project resumed.
