Google Earth can now take you back in time

Google Earth, celebrating its 20th anniversary, has introduced a new feature – the ability to rewind time, for example, for a building or a street. In other words, you can see how it looked in the past. Google Earth has granted users access to historical Street View images directly within the geographic visualization application, writes https://xrust.ru/. Users can scroll through old views of locations and see how areas have changed over time. In general, historical Street View images are already available in Google Maps. Last year, Google also added the ability to view historical satellite and aerial images directly in Google Earth – material that was previously only available in the desktop Earth Pro application. In the coming weeks, Google also plans to launch a new feature that will provide professional users with AI-based information about the Earth. This may include data on tree cover and soil temperature.
