Google plans to introduce a “Maximum Security” button on Android 16

Google has announced new security features for Android. These will be launched under the “Advanced Protection” page. The update will appear in Android 16. The new functionality will allow users to enable maximum protection with just one toggle button, writes https://xrust.ru/. It simplifies access to various security features that were previously scattered across different settings. Google’s Advanced Protection program is not entirely new. From the beginning, this program was designed to protect Google accounts from cyberattacks and, more recently, to guard against risky downloads. In Android 15, this feature started to integrate into the device’s security settings. However, with Android 16, Google is introducing a more streamlined and user-friendly version. At the Android Show, Google showcased the new design of the Advanced Protection page, which consolidates numerous security features into one place. When the main toggle button is enabled, various additional protections will be activated immediately and cannot be turned off manually as long as Advanced Protection remains enabled.
