Google plans to introduce a “Maximum Security” button on Android 16
Google has announced new security features for Android. These will be launched with the “Advanced Protection” page. The update will appear in Android 16. The new functionality will allow users to enable maximum protection with just a single toggle button, writes https://xrust.ru/. It simplifies access to various security features that were previously scattered across different settings. Google’s Advanced Protection program is not actually new. From the start, this program was designed to protect Google accounts from cyberattacks and, more recently, it has also provided protection against risky downloads. In Android 15, this feature began to integrate into the device’s security settings. However, with Android 16, Google is introducing a more streamlined and user-friendly version. At the Android Show, Google showcased the new design of the Advanced Protection page, which brings together multiple security features in one place. When the main toggle button is turned on, various additional protections will be activated immediately and cannot be manually disabled while Advanced Protection is still enabled.
