The couple will remain co-owners of the franchise, but the deal leaves creative control over all future productions in the hands of Amazon—a decision that has caused confusion among fans. It has recently been revealed that the budget for the next film, “Bond 26,” will be £250 million, which is roughly equivalent to the amount spent on Daniel Craig’s last film as Agent 007, “No Time to Die.” Journalists have already reported that the film will be released in late 2027. The hunt for a new Bond to replace Craig has intensified in recent weeks. Among the contenders are Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Harris Dickinson, and James Norton.
