Microsoft Paint is receiving an AI update with Copilot.
Microsoft Paint is getting new artificial intelligence features through Copilot, which will soon be available on specialized Windows 11 PCs. Microsoft has updated the Paint application and improved Windows Search in the new build of Windows 11 Insider Preview, which was released in the last few days. Canary and Dev Windows Insiders are currently offering the latest beta version. As a result, the new Copilot menu now brings AI features to Microsoft Paint. In addition, files saved in OneDrive are supported by Windows Search and its new semantic indexing. It is worth noting that Copilot+ PCs with Snapdragon will soon include similar features. Over the past two years, Microsoft has been implementing AI-based features into the Paint program. Using user-drawn content as input, the Cocreator feature can generate AI graphics. The degree of AI enhancement applied to the drawn image can also be adjusted by the user. Similarly, Image Creator is an application for converting text to images, which creates images for the user based on a text query and style selection. Paint also offers a feature called Generative Erase, which allows users to remove unwanted objects from images and replace them with background that is generated and blended. Finally, users can simply click to remove the background from any image using the Remove backdrop tool.
