Netflix Games plans to launch a new mobile children’s app called “Peppa Pig World” in June as part of its recently reimagined gaming strategy. This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to young gamers. “Peppa Pig World” will feature educational puzzles, mini-games, and coloring activities with characters from the iconic preschool series by Hasbro. The app launch will coincide with the release of new episodes of “Peppa Pig” in the U.S. Children’s and family content accounts for nearly 15% of all views on Netflix, and “Peppa Pig” is a major animated series for the streaming platform: its sixth season (22.4 million views), as well as the first and third seasons (17 million views each), made it into the list of the top 100 most-watched animated series from July to December 2024.
