Split Fiction will be released this week
Split Fiction is counting down the last days before its launch. The adventure game is created by the programmers at Hazelight and Electronic Arts. The worldwide release will take place on March 6. The Hazelight studio, led by Josef Fares, has earned a reputation for developing cooperative games. Among its previous works are A Way Out and It Takes Two. The foundation of Split Fiction lies in an innovative mechanic that switches between worlds of fantasy and fiction. Players will control Mio and Zoe, two characters trapped in a surreal simulation that blends their respective literary worlds. This interaction between two different realities introduces new gameplay challenges, requiring players to coordinate movements, solve puzzles, and navigate combat scenarios that demand flawless teamwork. Unlike traditional multiplayer games, Split Fiction is exclusively cooperative—you must play with a partner, either locally or online. The game also supports cross-platform play, meaning players on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC can team up without restrictions.
