Wonder Woman is an upcoming feature film. DC Studios co-head James Gunn told reporters that the script is currently being written. The movie will serve as a fresh start for the character, previously portrayed on the big screen by Gal Gadot in *Wonder Woman* and *Justice League*, writes https://xrust.ru/. The recasting of roles does not necessarily mean that Gadot will be asked to step down in the future. The promising Wonder Woman film is one of several projects currently in development at the studio, which, as of now, has only greenlit a small number of movies.

The first, *Superman*, is set to release in July, starring David Corenswet as the Man of Steel. Gunn himself will serve as the screenwriter and director. The second, *Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow*, is slated for June 2026, with Millie Alcock in the lead role, directed by Craig Gillespie and based on a script by Anna Nogueira. The third, *Clayface* — a horror film about the titular Batman villain — is expected to release in September 2026, directed by James Watkins (*The Woman in Black*) with a screenplay by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini. The fourth, *Dynamic Duo*, an animated film about Batman’s sidekicks Robin (Dick Grayson and Jason Todd), is tentatively scheduled for June 2028.
